Dr. Oscar J. Mayorga is a seasoned sociologist and mixed-methods researcher with over 20 years of experience delivering data-informed strategies to educational and healthcare institutions. He holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), specializing in race and ethnicity, Medical Sociology, and critical methodological approaches.
Dr. Mayorga’s robust expertise spans both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, enabling him to lead comprehensive initiatives ranging from national surveys and complex statistical modeling to qualitative stakeholder engagement through focus groups and interviews. His unique capability to integrate nuanced, narrative-driven insights with extensive quantitative data analysis provides institutions with a complete understanding of organizational performance, client experiences, and strategic opportunities.
In senior leadership roles, including Chief Diversity Officer at Anna Maria College and Director of Multicultural Affairs at Siena College, Dr. Mayorga successfully developed and implemented data-driven initiatives targeting equity, organizational effectiveness, and improved outcomes. Dr. Paul Martinez is a sociologist and institutional research expert with over 10 years of experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and applied research. He holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from UCLA, where he specialized in Quantitative Methods and Computational Analysis. His work spans the full data life cycle—from warehousing and integration to advanced modeling and interactive dashboards.
Dr. Martinez is recognized for his expertise in quantitative analysis and data infrastructure. He has supported colleges, universities, and non-profit organizations in developing scalable solutions for student success metrics, equity reporting, and strategic planning. His prior roles include work at the Center for Civil Rights Remedies (CCRR), the Higher Education Research Institute (HERI), and the Los Angeles Education Research Institute at UCLA.
A core focus of Dr. Martinez’s work is helping Institutional Research (IR) teams use data more effectively—from automating pipelines and cleaning large datasets to standardizing key metrics and building predictive models. He has co-authored studies on education disparities and consulted nationally on projects linking enrollment, funding, and student outcomes.
